CLUBS, ORGANIZATIONS AND SPECIAL
EVENTS
Sewing Club: Students who wish to
learn how to sew, and to sew craft items and clothing are invited to join
the sewing club, which meets twice a month. Hand-stitching and machine
sewing are taught by volunteers. Eight sewing machines are available
to club members.
Computer & Chess Clubs: Students
who wish to share their enthusiasm for these activities with their friends
are invited to join these after school clubs.
School Events:
For great fun and to help parents get to know
the families of their children's playmates and classmates, a number of
events are held each school year. Some of our students do not have
an available parent to participate in some of the activities. In
these cases the school works with the family to help find a suitable substitute
so that all students who wish to, can participate in any event.
